iPad Users Can Now Manage Cursor's AI Agents

Cursor has launched full iPad support, bringing its AI coding experience to a larger screen.

Cursor is now available on iPad with all the features of the iPhone version and more space to work with AI agents. A short demo video showcases the experience on the larger screen.

With this update, the app adds several new tools for both iPhone and iPad users. There is now an inbox feature that helps people stay organized across different agents and tasks. The app also brings a full pull request review experience, letting users check comments, tests, and approvals, then merge code directly from their device.

The iPad version includes extra improvements made for the bigger screen. Chats now appear in a side panel, and the review section can sit next to a chat window at the same time. This gives users more space to view file changes clearly. The update also adds Apple Pencil support, so users can mark up screenshots with notes or drawings.

Cursor's mobile app is not a full code editor. Instead, it lets users control AI agents from their phone or tablet. People can start agents, watch their progress through notifications, review the work through screenshots and videos, and give feedback using voice or annotations.

To use the agent features, users need a paid Cursor plan. The app requires the latest iOS or iPadOS software and is currently available only in English. It is not available in the mainland China App Store, and there is no Android version yet, though one is planned.

Cursor first introduced its mobile app as a public beta for iPhone. This new update brings the same experience to iPad, making it easier to manage coding work from anywhere.
