Lovable Grabs lovable.com After Years of Jokes
Lovable finally bought lovable.com after years of jokes, but the AI app still runs from lovable.dev

Finally, Lovable bought the lovable.com domain. You know, for a long time people used to say, this is a multi billion dollar company, but it doesn't even own its own ".com," that kind of jokes were going around a lot online.
So now Lovable made it official. They shared a funny video on their X account showing someone trying to buy underwear using the Lovable AI tool, and the AI just says no, and instead offers to help build an underwear business.
It's a joke because for years, lovable.com actually belonged to an Italian lingerie brand, not the AI company.
But here's the thing, even after buying the domain, Lovable didn't move their app there. If you type lovable.com, it just sends you straight to their real website, lovable.dev, which is where the actual product still works.
CEO Anton Osika also joined the joke online, confirming underwear isn't sold on lovable.com anymore. They also teased something like new merch, maybe "loungewear," coming soon, but no proper date was shared.
And don't worry, the original underwear brand is still doing fine. It's running normally at lovable.it, still selling bras, swimwear and nightwear like before.
