Lovable's New Visual Editor Lets You Edit Any Part of Your App Without Using Prompts
Lovable has launched a full-stack visual editor that lets users edit any part of a live app, including database-connected content, without prompts or code.

Lovable has rolled out a major upgrade to its visual editing feature. The new full-stack visual editor lets users click on any part of their live app and change it instantly, without typing a prompt or writing any code.
The update builds on Lovable's earlier Visual Edits tool from 2025. The new version goes much further. Users can now edit static design elements like text, colors, fonts, and spacing, but also content that is connected to a live database. That means even data pulled from a backend can be adjusted visually, directly inside the app preview.
One of the biggest changes is that editing works even while the AI is still processing another prompt. Most visual builders freeze during AI generation, forcing users to wait. Lovable now allows both the user and the AI to work at the same time, removing a common frustration in fast-moving workflows.
To use the feature, users click the Visual Edits button inside the Lovable editor. The live preview becomes interactive, and clicking any element opens a side panel with controls for typography, colors, spacing, layout, and content. Changes appear on screen right away, and hitting Send applies them to the actual codebase.
Free users get 100 visual edits per day, and visual changes do not use AI prompt credits. This is part of Lovable's growing push to make app building more accessible without code. The platform recently also added Telegram integration, letting users build bots without coding.
Early reactions from users have been positive, with many calling the concurrent editing support and live database editing the most meaningful improvements.
