Lovable Adds Telegram Integration So You Can Build Bots Without Coding

Lovable is an AI-powered app builder that now includes native Telegram integration on its platform. This new feature lets anyone building a web app with Lovable connect it directly to Telegram, without writing a single line of code.

With this integration, apps built on Lovable can send messages, deliver notifications, handle bot commands, and respond to users, all through Telegram. Builders simply describe what they want in plain English while using Lovable's chat interface, and the platform handles the rest automatically.

The integration works as a shared connector, meaning a workspace admin sets it up once and every project in that workspace can use it. Setting it up requires only a Telegram bot token, which anyone can get for free through Telegram's official BotFather tool.

Once connected, the possibilities are wide. An online store can notify its team when a new order arrives and let customers check delivery status by messaging a bot. A monitoring tool can send alerts when a service goes down. A support team can receive and reply to customer messages through Telegram without needing a separate app. Businesses can also send daily reports or price alerts to a Telegram group automatically.

Lovable handles all the backend logic, so users do not need to set up webhooks or deal with API configuration. The platform uses Telegram's polling method to receive incoming messages, which works reliably for most use cases.

The integration currently supports bot-based communication only. Users cannot connect personal Telegram accounts, and webhook support is not yet available. Standard Telegram limits on message rates and media sizes still apply.
