Anything's New AI Feature Builds Your App While You Take a Nap
Anything has launched Background Agents, letting its AI build apps, generate media, and analyze code all at once, even while you sleep.

A popular AI app-building platform called Anything has rolled out a new feature called Background Agents. The update lets the AI handle slow, heavy tasks on its own in the background while users continue working or even step away entirely.
This is not the first time Anything has added a smart layer to its building process. The platform recently launched Plan Mode, which lets users review and approve a full build plan before the AI writes any code. Background Agents now take things a step further by handling the heavy lifting automatically once the build is underway.
The biggest problem with AI builders until now has been waiting. Tasks like generating videos and creating images take time, forcing users to sit idle. Background Agents solve this by running those slow tasks at the same time as everything else, without stopping the rest of the build.
In one demo, multiple tasks for an artisan coffee shop website were stacked and started, then left to run completely on their own. The full site came back complete with product cards, images, pricing, and navigation, all finished without anyone watching.
Anything describes this as "vibe coding just went superhuman," and early community reaction has been enthusiastic, with many calling it a major step forward for solo builders.
