• Press the record button or use the keyboard shortcut CMD+Shift+5 to start capturing. The countdown begins, then recording starts automatically.

• While recording, click the menu bar icon again to stop. You can also pause by Option-clicking the icon during a recording.

• After stopping, choose your export format and settings. Add trimming if needed, then save or share your recording.
