Screencastify

Screencastify is a screen recording extension built for Chrome browsers. It lets you capture anything on your screen with just a few clicks. You can record a single browser tab, your entire desktop, or just your webcam.

Using Screencastify is straightforward. Here are the steps to get started:

• Install the Screencastify extension from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your Google account.

• Click the Screencastify icon in your browser toolbar to open the recorder.

• Choose what you want to record: a browser tab, your full desktop, or just your webcam.

• Select your audio settings for microphone and system sound.

• Click the record button to start capturing. Use the drawing tools during recording to highlight important points.

• When finished, click stop. Your video saves automatically to Google Drive.

• Edit your video using the built-in tools to trim, crop, or add text.

• Share your video by copying the link, uploading to YouTube, or exporting as an MP4 file.

• With the Pro version, you can also add AI-generated captions, translate your videos, and create interactive questions.
